宣教106周年纪念庆典 106th Anniversary Celebration

我们的教会今天下午3时正庆祝宣教106周年纪念，随后，在明佫酒家进行了感恩晚宴。

今时的成就，不可成为我们松懈圣工的藉口。其实，当我们回顾先贤所付出的努力与牺牲，我们现在为上帝所做的显然微不足道。

我们有此时今日，是因为在多年以前，一群平凡不过的人，立志遵从主耶稣的诫命（马太福音22：37-40），并力行耶稣所赐下的大使命（马太福音28：19-20）。因为深存顺服的心志与不竭的爱心，他们为主做了最不平凡的大事。

祈盼现在及以后的芙蓉基督教卫理公会会友，也秉承主耶稣的诫命与大使命，继续106年前先人的工作，直到主再来。

Our church celebrated our 106th anniversary today with a Thanksgiving Service at 3pm in church; followed by a Thanksgiving Dinner in Min Kok Restaurant after the service.

This celebration is not a time to pat ourselves in the back. In fact, when looking back at our history and remembering the sacrifices and hard work of those who came before us, we feel that our present generation is not doing enough for God.

We are here today because, many years ago, ordinary people decided to follow the Great Commandment of Jesus Christ (Matthew 22:37-40) and to fulfill the Great Commission of Jesus (Matthew 28:19-20). Because of their obedience and their love, they did extraordinary things for God.

We pray and hope that the current and future members of Chinese Methodist Church Seremban will continue to fulfill the Great Commandment and the Great Commission of Jesus Christ; to continue the work that was started 106 years ago.
